If I could go back in time and give advice to 16 year old me, It would be 'brace yourself, your career is going to be incredible'...

I began my journey as Banqueting staff over Christmas of 2003 in a well renowned hotel near my home, and before my feet even touched the ground, I was hooked! Seeing the sheer delight on the faces of guests as they wined, dined and partied the whole night through, gave me a buzz that I had never felt before, and I knew I was 'home'.

Late nights, early starts and 'wow' moments were definitely just the tip of the iceberg within the early days of my career, and as I climbed the ranks to Team Leader, then Deputy Manager and finally Head of Department, I realised how fortunate I was to be doing what I loved each and every day.

I continued to embrace challenges and opportunities, treating them as if they were my last; after all, all good things must come to an end, right? Wrong! 

In 2016 I was given the opportunity to join a well established Recruitment company as an 'ex-industry professional', where not only did I place candidates into various permanent and temporary roles, often for high profile events and functions, I could still work these events too - result!

Fast forward to the present day, and I often sit and reflect on my career to date, and think how lucky I was to have had the most amazing mentors, managers, colleagues, staff and clients...I will forever be grateful to those who helped me become the professional I am today, and I am super excited to be able to share my knowledge and experience to support candidates and clients alike, on a freelance basis.

It is no secret that interviews can be a daunting process, but they don't have to be.  I have lost count of the number of times otherwise seemingly strong candidates have stumbled at this hurdle, and as such I am offering a coaching service to get candidates through this painstaking process with confidence.  
As with the CV and cover letter support, this service is available to people from all walks of life, regardless of career level and sector. 
This service is currently being offered via the telephone, and coaching lasts circa 1 hour depending on requirements.
